Sample Use-of-Force Report – PrecisionStrike™ Deployment
Built for Those Who Face the Worst—And Expect the Best
Precision Expansion. Tactical Integrity

Officer Name: Sgt. Jordan Reyes
Agency: [Agency Name]
Date: October 18, 2025
Incident Type: Barricaded Suspect – Residential Entry
Round Type: PrecisionStrike™ (Open Tip Match, Bonded Core)
Platform: Glock 19 (9mm)
Deployment Outcome: Threat stopped, no collateral injury

1. Incident Summary
At approximately 03:42 hours, officers responded to a call regarding a barricaded suspect inside a single-family residence at [Address]. The suspect was reported armed and had made verbal threats toward neighbors. Upon arrival, officers established a perimeter and issued verbal commands. The suspect refused to exit and was observed moving between rooms with a visible firearm.
Annotation: Use neutral, fact-based language. Avoid emotional or speculative phrasing. Describe suspect behavior in observable terms.

2. Threat Posture & Backdrop Evaluation
The suspect was positioned near an interior hallway with multiple occupied bedrooms beyond his location. Officers observed the suspect raise a firearm toward the hallway entry team. Due to the presence of non-target individuals behind the suspect and the confined nature of the structure, backdrop-sensitive ammunition was deemed necessary.
Annotation: Clearly articulate backdrop risk and threat posture. This supports the tactical rationale for PrecisionStrike™ selection.

3. Round Selection Justification
PrecisionStrike™ was selected for its match-grade accuracy, controlled expansion, and bonded-core reliability. The round’s design minimized risk of over-penetration into occupied rooms while maintaining terminal effectiveness against the armed threat. Deployment was consistent with agency SOPs for confined-space engagements involving backdrop accountability.
Annotation: Reference round behavior and SOP alignment. Avoid vague terms like “stopping power” or “maximum force.”

4. Engagement Details
At 03:47 hours, one PrecisionStrike™ round was discharged from a Glock 19 platform at a distance of approximately 12 feet. The suspect was struck in the upper torso and immediately dropped the weapon. Officers secured the scene and rendered medical aid. No other individuals were injured.
Annotation: Include round count, platform, distance, and outcome. Avoid dramatized or informal language.

5. Post-Incident Actions
Scene secured and cleared
Medical personnel notified and arrived at 03:52 hours
Weapon recovered: Taurus G2C 9mm
One PrecisionStrike™ casing recovered and logged
Body camera footage reviewed and preserved
Deployment logged in use-of-force database
Supervisor and command notified
Annotation: Document chain-of-custody, evidence, and supervisory review. This reinforces procedural integrity.

6. Officer Statement
“I deployed one PrecisionStrike™ round in response to an imminent threat posture involving a suspect armed with a firearm, positioned in front of occupied rooms. The round was selected based on backdrop accountability and controlled expansion requirements. My decision was consistent with training, SOPs, and backdrop evaluation protocols.”
Annotation: Model verbal justification. Use tactical, restrained language that reflects training and policy.
