ForseMark PrecisionStrike™ (PrecisionStrike™ )

PrecisionStrike™ ( PrecisionStrike™ ) – Maximum Accuracy Duty Round
For controlled engagements requiring rapid threat stoppage and minimal pass-through risk.

 


Purpose
This SOP outlines the authorized use, handling, deployment, and documentation protocols for the PrecisionStrike™ round. It is intended to ensure officer safety, public protection, and agency compliance in high-liability environments by emphasizing accuracy, backdrop accountability, and predictable terminal behavior.

Scope
This SOP applies to all sworn personnel authorized to carry and deploy PrecisionStrike™ rounds during patrol, tactical operations, vehicle interdiction, and residential response. It also applies to training staff, procurement officers, and forensic reviewers responsible for qualification, acquisition, and post-deployment analysis.

Equipment Description

  • Round Type: Open Tip Match (PrecisionStrike™ ), bonded core design
  • Caliber: 9mm
  • Performance Profile: Match-grade accuracy, controlled expansion, predictable wound channel, reduced risk of over-penetration
  • Best-Fit Platforms: Duty pistols, patrol rifles (where applicable)

Restrictions

  • Not authorized for barrier-blind operations requiring deep penetration
  • Not suitable for long-range engagements or suppressed platforms requiring subsonic cycling
  • Not approved for military use under Hague Convention battlefield constraints (though treaty-compliant for domestic law enforcement)
  • Must not be deployed in open terrain without backdrop containment

Handling & Storage

  • Store in climate-controlled, locked ammunition cabinets
  • Rotate inventory every 12 months to ensure performance integrity
  • Inspect for corrosion, deformation, or packaging compromise prior to issuance

 

Deployment Protocol

Pre-Engagement Assessment

  • Confirm backdrop containment and bystander proximity
  • Evaluate threat type and engagement distance
  • Verify platform compatibility and round integrity

Engagement Execution

  • Prioritize center-mass shot placement
  • Limit shots to threat neutralization only
  • Maintain verbal command protocols where feasible

Post-Engagement Actions

  • Secure scene and preserve evidence
  • Notify supervisor and initiate use-of-force documentation
  • Submit spent casings and recovered rounds for forensic review

Documentation Requirements

  • Log round type, quantity deployed, and engagement context
  • Include PrecisionStrike™ designation in incident reports and forensic packets

Training & Qualification
